Program 01 · The science arm
Research Lab
An AI and computational arm that synthesizes global work, ranks the hypotheses worth testing, and publishes finished outputs open-access.
What it does
- 01
Rank the candidate hypotheses for STRC and adjacent hearing-loss genes, so wet-lab effort goes to the most promising first.
- 02
Build and publish an open structural set: AlphaFold3 predictions for stereocilin and its partners, and the druggable pockets worth probing.
- 03
Coordinate data so a partner lab starts from finished computation, not a blank bench.
Why it matters
STRC is a single-gene, recessive condition, the tractable case for this approach: model the variant, predict the structure, rank the hypotheses before any wet-lab spend. The general method lives on the methodology page. Here it is pointed at one gene.
Where it stands
Pre-incorporation. First planned outputs are a public STRC hypothesis ranking and an AlphaFold3 structural set on the wiki. This program holds only finished, MISHA-owned outputs. The working scientific notebook lives separately.
